Dear Parade Enthusiast:
This letter follows up our recent discussion concerning your organization’s potential participation in the Annual Gaithersburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The HARP & SHAMROCK SOCIETY (the Parade Committee) of Gaithersburg in conjunction with The City of Gaithersburg and Peterson Retail Management (of the Washingtonian Center) have been working diligently over the past several months planning for our 6th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade to be held at the Washingtonian Center in Gaithersburg. (Also, special thanks goes to the Montgomery County Recreation Department for their assistance in planning this event).
We are pleased to hear of your interest to participate in this event that will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008, starting at 10:00 a.m., and have enclosed an application for you to submit. Once we receive your application, you will be sent further details and logistics of the parade itinerary, including a map of the route. You should receive this information by early March.
Please return your application no later than January 31, 2008, to the above address on this letter or fax it to me at 301-945-4301.
